Green Kale

Green Kale can be enjoyed:

  • stir fried and added to noodles or pasta

  • oven baked and used as chips or sprinkles

  • juiced in a green juice with fruit

  • fresh in a salad or as a pesto

One serve (approx 75g) of Kale will benefit your bones, joints, brain, nervous system, heart, immune system, skin and vision.*

Green Kale is related to brassicas like broccoli and cauliflower. Unlike broccoli and cauliflower, Green Kale does not form a head, and, with care, can be repeatedly harvested. Green Kale is a popular vegetable in Europe, and the variety we grow is originally native to Scotland.

Green Kale is planted every 3-4 weeks all year. During peak demand, we will harvest 3 - 5 times per week.

It is available from good greengrocers from Brisbane to Melbourne and in ALDI stores in Queensland.
